About our studio in Tbilisi

Nevotop Digital is a product studio based in Tbilisi, with offices at 19 Kote Marjanishvili St, 14 Aleksandre Kazbegi Ave, and 15 Aleksandre Pushkin St. We work with businesses in Georgia and internationally on web, mobile, design, AI, and IT consulting projects.

Design · build · ship · support

You talk to the people doing the work. No account layer in between.

Who we are

We're a team of designers, developers, and consultants. Most of us are based in Tbilisi, and a few work remotely from other cities. The studio started with web projects and grew into mobile, AI, and consulting as clients asked for more.

We're not a large agency, and we don't pretend to be. Our team size means you'll work with the people actually building your project, not an account manager relaying messages. That shapes everything from how we quote to how quickly a question gets answered.

What you get

  • Design that answers a question. Layouts and flows chosen for a job you actually have.
  • Builds you can maintain. Web and mobile work your own team can pick up later.
  • One thread of contact. The lead on your project also writes the code.

Software should solve a specific problem, not demonstrate how clever the team is.

How we think about the work

If a simpler tool or a smaller build would work better, we recommend it, even when it means a smaller project for us. That has cost us work before, and we would still rather say it in the first call than three months in.

We also believe in writing things down. Scope, decisions, and open questions live in documents you can refer back to, not only in calls. When someone joins the project later, the reasoning is still there for them to read.

Our Tbilisi base and why it matters

Tbilisi has become a real tech hub in the region, with a growing pool of engineers and designers and a steady flow of international clients. Working from here gives us access to that talent and keeps our costs reasonable compared to Western European agencies. It also means we hire people who want to stay in the city, not people passing through.

European business hours

We sit within a few hours of most European working days, so a call can usually land the same morning you write.

US Eastern overlap

Mornings here line up with US Eastern mornings, which is when we schedule calls for clients across the Atlantic.

Working with clients outside Georgia

Roughly half our clients are based outside Georgia, mostly in the EU, the US, and Kazakhstan. We work in English and Georgian, and we're used to asynchronous communication across timezones.

EU clients We're within an hour or two of most business hours, so reviews happen on your clock, not ours. overlapping hours
US clients We schedule calls in the morning Eastern time, which is late afternoon here. Written updates carry the rest of the day. morning ET calls
Kazakhstan clients Close timezone, shared working rhythm, and Russian-language context where the project needs it. Our documentation still runs in English. nearby hours
Georgia clients Same city, same day. Some projects start over coffee in Tbilisi before a single line of scope is written. in person

What we value in practice

  • Honest scoping Even when it costs us a project. If the budget fits a smaller build, that is the build we will describe.
  • Short feedback loops Short enough to catch problems while they are still cheap to fix, not at the end of a phase.
  • Work people use Not just work that ships. We would rather watch a release settle in with real users than hit a launch date with a feature nobody opens.

None of these are slogans. They show up in how we run projects, which you can read about on the how we work page.

Team structure on a project

A typical project team is a designer, one or two developers, and a lead who handles scoping and client communication. For larger projects, we add a dedicated QA person and, where needed, a project manager.

For consulting engagements, the team is smaller: usually one or two people, focused on the specific question you've asked. You get a written answer, not a slide deck of possibilities.

Roles you will meet

  • Lead — scoping, decisions, and the single thread you message.
  • Designer — research, interface, and the flows behind it.
  • Developer — the build itself, one or two people on most projects.
  • QA — added on larger projects, before anything reaches your users.

What we're not

We're not a body shop that sells hours without a point of view. We're not a design agency that hands off to a separate dev team. And we're not going to tell you AI will transform your business without a specific reason why.

If that sounds like the right kind of studio to work with, the next step is a short call. Bring the problem, not a finished brief — we can shape the brief together.

How the studio grew

A short version of the shape, so you know which skills are homegrown and which we added later.

Web projects first

The studio opened with websites for local businesses. Small sites, tight deadlines, and the habit of writing scope down before touching design.

Mobile and product design

Clients started asking for apps, so interface design and mobile builds joined the same team rather than a separate vendor. That is when the designer-developer pairing became the default.

AI and cloud work

Recent engagements brought in model integration, data plumbing, and cloud hosting. We take these on when the use case is concrete, and say so when it is not yet.

Consulting alongside delivery

Some clients need a second opinion more than they need a build. IT consulting in Georgia and abroad now runs next to project work, usually one or two people for a defined question.

Visiting or reaching us

We keep three addresses in Tbilisi and work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. If you would rather start by email, send a short note describing the problem and we will reply with the next step.
